📝 Narrative Writing Task: The Unexpected Visitor

 

Task:

You’re home alone when there’s a knock at the door.
When you open it, you’re completely shocked by who (or what) is standing there.
You invite them in… and things get even stranger!

Your job:

Write a short story using this idea as your starting point.

Think carefully about:
– Who the unexpected visitor is
– How your character reacts
– What surprising or unusual thing happens next
– How the story ends

Tips:

– Make your story interesting with emotion, suspense or humour.
– Organise your writing into paragraphs (at least 3–5).
– Add descriptive language and maybe even some dialogue.
– Think about the reader – make them want to keep reading!

your home alone mum and dad out to a comedy show your on youtube then poof a knock at the door so you grab a knife you open the door and no one was there, 

 

So you turn around and there it was, a dark figure sitting in your spot so you run at it and about to stab it then you realize that it disappeared and it was in the kitchen so you leave it alone.

 

 Then it says in a husky voice “where can I find some chicken,” so you tell it “in the fridge,” then it leaves never to be seen again.  The End.

This is my street

This is the sound of kids playing

This is the screaming of the loud kid

This is the feeling when you forget about all your problems

This is the boat that doesn’t stop rowing

This is the memory where the first time falling off my bike

This is my street again,

but now you know it better.
